ACSC recently attended the Eastern North Carolina Turfgrass Association (ENCTA) Spring Meeting on Thursday April 16, 2015. Jim Schultes from A.C. Schultes’ New Jersey headquarters came down to present an educational seminar during the event which was held at the Belmont Lake Golf Club in Rocky Mount, NC. ACSC would like to thank Stanley Elliott (ENCTA President) for the opportunity to meet more ENCTA members and David Coley (Golf Course Superintendent at Belmont Lake Golf Club) for hosting the event! ACSC Hosted 3 Singer Valve Lunch & Learns!

Singer Valve designs and manufactures automatic control valves for the global water industry. A.C. Schultes of Carolina is proud to partner with Singer Valve as their exclusive dealer and repair facility for the Carolinas. In coordination with Singer Valve, ACSC recently hosted three (3) very successful Singer Valve Lunch & Learns in Mount Pleasant (SC), Conway (SC) and Leland (NC). Attendees included water treatment operators, utility management and civil engineers. The educational seminar topic included automatic control valves (pressure reducing, pressure relief/sustaining, altitude and pump control valves). The seminar is free, and lunch was provided by ACSC. The class is two (2) CEU contact hours. The class even included hands-on experience for attendees who disassembled and reassembled a valve in under 20 minutes with Singer Valve Account Sales Manager, Todd Philbeck.

ACSC exhibited at South Carolina Environmental Conference 2015 (SCEC) March 15-17, 2015. The SCEC is a three-day continuing education conference and trade show hosted every March by the SC Chapter of the American Water Works Association & Water Environment Association (SCAWWA/WEASC) at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center (Myrtle Beach, SC). We were proud to attend this year’s conference and enjoyed seeing customers, partners, suppliers and engineers! We look forward to attending SCEC 2016!
